Relaxing With Mom
Howdy, all! Brad here with another quick update. Annie’s been taking some great snapshots lately so I thought I would post them here.
Maggie is all ready for her first Halloween, which will likely just be spent hanging out around the home base with our friends Jean and Matt, watching movies, playing games and occasionally getting up to stop Squatchy from barking at startled, costumed children.
We had a chance to drop in on Karen, Mason and Zane this week. Little Zane is a cutie! He’s incredibly chill, thanks no doubt to his amazing parents’ super healthy and relaxed dispositions. Today I went to work in costume as a track and field vampire named Trackula, and when I came home I found Karen, Tiffany and Annie hanging out with all the babies. It was great to see Arthur, Maggie and Zane lined up next to each other. Maggie is 3 months younger than Arthur and 3 months older than Zane, so we had a nice continuum before us. Arthur really enjoyed playing with Maggie’s hair, Maggie just sat still with a stoic expression on her face, and Zane was completely zonked out between feedings.
We’re looking forward to our trip to the east coast next month, although I am getting increasingly concerned about H1N1, since there is no approved vaccine for kids under 6 months and I am still unable to track down vaccine for the grownups in our house. It should all work out soon, hopefully. I guess that constant worry is just part of being a parent. Good times!
Here’s wishing you all a very happy and scary Halloween. Watch out for those ghosts, tentacled creatures, aliens and hungry undead. And peas.
