This weekend, we returned to Mount Hood with Maggie for a celebration of the life of one of our first Portland friends, Douglas Lynch. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and the caliber of guests was impeccable. Multiple generations of Lynches were on hand, as well as dozens of friends, colleagues, former students and neighbors. We had such a fun time getting to associate faces with the names of people we had heard Douglas speak of with such love and reverence. What a great commemoration. Huge thanks to Alix, Jason, John and so many others who came together to create such a memorable moment. Douglas would be proud.
